We are proud of the quality of our staff. Our teachers are caring, nurturing, capable professionals who love to do what they do. Each classroom is supervised by two staff members. All of our head teachers are New York State Certified with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Many of our assistant teachers are also certified or are working toward certification. All teachers participate in weekly staff meetings where in-service education is provided. They also participate in programs sponsored by the Westchester Association for the Education of Young Children (WAEYC).

Music is a wonderful part of our program. In addition to singing or dancing with their teachers, children meet once or twice a week with our music specialist. We sing seasonal songs, use rythm instruments and have a fabulous repertoire of everything from Christopher Columbus to Martin Luther King to Barney!

We have a special artist on staff once a month who creates three dimentional works of art with the children. This is in addition to the ongoing art activities led by classroom teachers. Our Art Program emphasizes "child made" projects using many different materials.

A movement instructor provides stimulating and fun activities that encourage children's self-expression. This is during the winter months when we do not get out as often.
